Landlord and care home hit with fines in latest prosecutions
A landlord in Devon and a care home owner in Newcastle upon Tyne have been hit with substantial fines in two of the latest prosecutions under the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order in England.
In the first case, Joseph Draper was fined £135,000 and ordered to pay £23,000 in costs after pleading guilty to four breaches of the legislation.
